Roles and Responsibilities:
Collate relevant and important data that are pertinent to the research assignment delivered by the
Company and perform quantative analysis on the data to provid insights, analysis and forecast of
industry development;
Researching, writing and publishing a series of reports on a topic-by-topic basis that would also
contribute to a benchmarking library on the topic;
Design questionnaire/survey according to the scope of work required, conduct interviews with
industry players to collate required data and information and developing excellent powerpoint
presentation to share its findings;
Contribute to the reputation of the Company and its research business through all forms of client
contact, speaking engagements, press interviews and general availability for marketing and related
activities.
Core Skills:
Ability to undertake and execute strategic research work including developing research
methodologies, conducting primary fieldwork (which involves, sourcing an conducting interviews
with primary sources in the industry) collating primary data, designing conceptual models, writing
and presenting reports as required for our industry;
Ability to execute quantitative analysis;
Ability to communicate effectively with clients at all levels in a manner that establishes rapport,
trust and continued business;
Ability to manage projects to time and profitability;
Ability to work closely with all members of the Company as a team-player.
You will be measured on the following KPIs:
The research projects undertaken are delivered in a timely manner;
Articles contributed to the Company’s print and online publications/journal, where necessary;
Ensuring that research projects undertaken are delivered in a timely manner and the end product is of top quality
Requirements
Possess a recognised degree (Masters preferred);
Excellent English written and oral communication skills is a must;
Demonstrate strong aptitude and 3 to 6 years proven work experience as a Research Professional in the financial services;
Strong analytical skills, ability to quickly analyse trends in wholesale and transaction banking;
Strong skills in the use of statistical, Word, Excel and PowerPoint software;
Able to formulate, execute and to work on multiple projects simultaneously;
Must be a team-player.

Cindy Yu, Director TAB International
Cindy Yu is the director of TAB International. She joined The Asian Banker in 2014 to provide in-depth research and strategic consulting services covering Greater China. She and her team work closely with financial institutions, regulators, municipal governments and enterprises across different industries. Prior to joining the company, Yu held several senior positions in major international institutions, successfully leading business development, marketing and investor relationship management divisions.
Thomas McMahon, Director TAB International
Thomas McMahon has over 30 years of experience in international exchange-based commodity and derivative product creation, clearing, trading and regulatory licensing. He worked broadly across Asia to bring major international exchange formation and licensing projects to the market, serving as chief executive officer (CEO) and managing director of Singapore Mercantile Exchange, deputy CEO of Allocated Bullion Exchange and CEO of UD Trading Group. Prior to this, McMahon worked as president, managing director and deputy chairman of the Hong Kong Mercantile Exchange. He also served in various leadership positions at The New York Mercantile Exchange and COMEX from 1983 to 2003.
